Privacy Policy

8 November 2026

This policy covers the Android app for The Sweet Sarnie Co. For privacy enquiries, email thesweetsarnieco@gmail.com or call 07822 013007.

Browsing and the basket

The app includes the bakery pages and images and connects to SiteForge, hosted on Cloudflare, to load changes to the shop and other public content. These requests include normal connection information such as your IP address. The app holds your current basket in memory as you shop. The app does not ask customers to create an account and includes no advertising or analytics SDK.

Enquiries

The contact form prepares a message in your email app. If you send it, the bakery receives the details you entered, such as your name, email address, phone number, occasion and message, and uses them to respond to your enquiry. If you contact the bakery through Facebook, Facebook handles your use of its service.

Orders and payment

When you request checkout, the app sends your basket, name, email address and any collection notes you enter to the SiteForge checkout service to prepare your order and open payment. SumUp is the bakery’s current payment provider. The checkout service passes the details it needs to the configured payment provider. You enter your payment details on the provider’s checkout page. The bakery uses the order information to fulfil your order, contact you about it and deal with order queries.

Bakery staff

Staff use the admin area to send their login details to SiteForge to authenticate and save changes to the catalogue, images and other bakery content. Staff can select images to upload. Saved public content can be seen by anyone browsing the bakery.

Security, retention and requests

The app uses HTTPS for its connections to SiteForge. The bakery keeps order and enquiry records for 12 months. Contact the bakery to request access, correction or deletion. The payment provider handles requests about data it keeps for its own payment service.
